Great hot press paper
I was very happy to find a hot press paper at the student-grade price level. I'm really loving it so far. It holds up to my pen and ink wash work just fine and looks great. It's a fairly soft paper, so I wouldn't recommend rough treatment like scrubbing.

One of my Favs
from NY, NY
Although on the pricier side of paper what really grabs me about this brand of studio paper is that it is 25% cotton. It is very rare to find cotton paper that is of decent price. I rarely use my good paper unless I have a commission or a professional piece to work on. However I am always more then happy to sell pieces on the Fabriano paper and I rarely have any issues with warping paper. The paper is absorbent and very workable.

This paper will buckle but it helps to tape it down.
Love Fabriano Studio Watercolor pads

I do a lot of quick Plein Air sketching. Love this page because it has just enough cotton rag in it to be able to paint fluid watercolors. Good with watercolor pencils and heavy enough that markers do not bleed. A good value.
Good Paper for printing Watercolor Paintings
from Clermont, FL
The 140 lb product jams in my front-loading hp inkjet printer, but the 90 lb paper goes right through and makes a copy that looks like an original painting. Good price, too.
Best studio pad ever !! Will frame a piece recently complete

Like the weight and surface for watercolor
Nice quality paper
from Springfield, VT
I used this paper in a novice watercolor class and the quality of the paper was excellent and gave them a great experience moving color in paint mixing exercises. The paper is heavy enough to keep colors rich. The brush and paper contact is smooth as compared to others in this price category. The fact that it was on sale helped too!

This is the best paper I have found for watercolor trials. It is even frame-worthy.
