Good Paper for printing Watercolor Paintings
from Clermont, FL
Comments about Fabriano Studio Watercolor Pads:
The 140 lb product jams in my front-loading hp inkjet printer, but the 90 lb paper goes right through and makes a copy that looks like an original painting. Good price, too.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Like the weight and surface for watercolor
Nice quality paper
from Springfield, VT
I used this paper in a novice watercolor class and the quality of the paper was excellent and gave them a great experience moving color in paint mixing exercises. The paper is heavy enough to keep colors rich. The brush and paper contact is smooth as compared to others in this price category. The fact that it was on sale helped too!

Fabriano studio Watercolor pads
from Sav. Gs.
Fabriano makes wonderful acid free paper. I've used the cold press and the hot press. This paper also makes a good acid free backing for matted watercolors. Much easier to manage and store than conventional cardboard backings. I keep these pads around.
Amazing Water Color Paper
By Sarah Jane, artist and designer
from Carrboro, NC
I have been painting with watercolor for the past five years or so as a student. I am used to 90 lb compressed watercolor paper, but I wanted to try and see if 140 lb paper was really any better. I am super impressed by the quality difference between this Fabriano paper and non name watercolor paper. This specific watercolor paper doesn't warp very much, but instead holds to its flat form. I took the 9" X 12" pages and cut them down to postcard size to make handmade postcards. This paper served my intended purpose in an excellent fashion. This paper has an amazing surface; just by rubbing the paper you can tell it is high quality and will work wonderfully with watercolor. Overall, I am extremely pleased.
Perfect for test color studies, and good enough to frame. Worth every penny for my young ones too.
Love this Product!
from Austin, TX
I bought this pad because I needed an affordably priced option for a summer camp with 40 students ages 3-11. In the past I've bought the BLICK student grade watercolor paper that comes in bundles, but I always had to hand cut the paper to a smaller size. This Fabriano pad was the perfect size for young kids and the quality was great for the price. Paper only buckled slightly (would not buckle at all if I had taped the edges). Could handle a lot of water (when painting with 4 year olds, it's typical for them to over-saturate). Dried flat. Also easy to cut into shapes that the children could then paint and collage onto another paper once dry.
