Welcome to dickblick
This high quality, heavyweight drawing paper is excellent for all fine art and graphic drawing and sketching with pencil, charcoal, pastel, colored pencil, and ink. It also accepts a light watercolor wash. Featuring internal and external sizing, it resists smearing and erasure.
This is a white paper with a slightly textured surface, and is machine-made of lignin free, acid free 100% cellulose. At a weight of 160 gsm, it is comparable to lightweight watercolor papers.

Comments about Fabriano Accademia Artist Paperpack:
When developing lesson plans often I design a work-page where the student needs to follow instructions and develop the work. Before this product all my work needed to be worked in or on paper worthy of the time spent - Now I can print out the work page and the student can do that assignment with instruction all on my hand out. The only draw back is I must cut this paper down to 81/2 X 11 for the equipment I have, but that is little work to do to get the results of a document that work can be done on.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I've used this paper, first in cyanotype printing (yes, it works with wet materials) and second as a drawing substrate for myself. Then, I took it to my classroom. I have only a little lest than 2 packs of the 11x16 and only a little less than 1 pack of the A4 and I am sad that I cannot get this for my students anymore. It is an excellent value - far better quality than the commonly used sulfate papers in classrooms and excellent price-wise.

My new favorite paper in A4 (thats 21 x 29,7 cm) size which is just perfect size (unlike 9 x 12" in archaic dimensions which is slightly too big) as it fits in scanner perfectly, can print on it as it fits and off course it is great for drawing with ink or watercolors etc.

The 11" x 16" pack allows you the best of both worlds. You can have a big sheet for those larger drawings or cut it down and have 8" x 11" sheets that fit nice in a folder. I had been using Fabriano Accademia Disegno Drawing Pad's and find the 200gsm paper to be nearly identical; if you don't mind the loose pages these packs are the way to go. Simply wonderful paper for drawing in graphite!
great multi purpose paper
This paper works well with water materials & inks.Nice and thick, but not too ridged.quality.

This is the paper in their hard to find and when you do they are pricey Venezia Hardbound sketch books (why Blick stopped carrying them is a mystery!)Holds pencil very well and brush pen excellently. Also holds up to good watercolour washes and gouache, more than the description states, minor buckling.
