These Pitt Artist Pens contain the same high-quality pigmented India Ink as the original Pitt Artist Pens, but with Big Brush nibs for full coverage or narrow, detailed strokes. Each Big Brush pen contains four times the amount of ink found in regular Pitt Artist Pens.
They are excellent for large artwork or for sketching, journaling, cartooning, and drawing. The acid-free, archival ink is smudgeproof, waterproof, and won't bleed through paper.
Filled with odorless opaque white India ink, this pen has a durable bullet-shaped nib giving artists the freedom to create broad, medium, or narrow strokes with an even application of color.

I definitely would buy this products again.
from Fresno, CA
I use these pens when I'm art journaling and when I work on other paper crafts. I've said in my other reviews that I love these pens and I plan on owning every single color.
I would purchase this item again
from Las Vegas NV
I use these pens for large areas of my drawings or coloring. The ink does not leak through the paper which was important to me.
I want to buy one of each colour!

I love the colours of these pens! I don't know how long they last since I have just started using them. But they are smooth, able to smudge a bit for shading, and beautiful.
A Different Marker Experience
By Marker Man
from Washington, DC
Unlike Copic and Prismacolor and Mepxy markers I've worked with, these don't seem to bleed through the paper, even when used with sketchbook quality paper. They have no odor at all that I can detect. On the papers I've tried, they don't blend as well as Copic. I found it a bit tricky to pick colors; what they look like on paper doesn't seem to match the names all that closely. And at least with the ones I bought, the colors tend towards the dark and vibrant, which is good for some styles, but not as good if you're going for a subtle colorization of line art. One last note, the white is unique in having a bullet tip, instead of the brush tip of the others. It's not super opaque (compared to, for example, painting on white gouache highlights) but multiple passes builds up the white in a controllable fashion.
Very nice artist pen, will be getting more colors very soon.
Very bright colors, goes on smooth, great buy and very fast shipping
Love these Big Brush Markers !!!
from Memphis, TN
I belong to a group who does Mixed Media Art Journaling. We use a wide variety of art supplies. Faber-Castell Big Brush Markers are my go-to product for shading and coloring on cardstock and other mediums. They come in so many colors !
Wanted more colors. Saw the price. Bought them.
Just what I needed
from Boston MA
This is great for a pen brush dedicated to laying in and filling in large areas of black. I use in conjunction with a pen brush dedicated to fine line work. That way you don't fatigue your more expensive fine liners.

I loved these pens!

I used these for a Mother's Day project in my class. Kids made fingerprints on a mini canvas using acyrilic paint and then added finishing details with these pens so they looked like flowers and butterflies. (An idea off of Pinterest.) Each and every one turned out beautifully. These pens were perfect and easy for the kids to use.

Pigmented India Ink in multiple nib sizes and 48 colors brings great versatility to
pen-and-ink drawings requiring lots of intricate details. Pitt Artist Pens are great
for sketching, journaling, cartooning, and drawing. The Superfine, Fine, Medium, and Brush nibs not
only replace ink bottles — they're instantly available for work. The ink is
waterproof, unsurpassably lightfast, acid-free, and pH-neutral. The nib
size is prominently displayed on the end of the cap.
