Faber-Castell Kneaded Eraser
Comments about Faber-Castell Kneaded Eraser:
Anyone using colored pencils or charcoal or drawing pencils really needs the Faber-Castell Kneaded Eraser.I lift color by dabbing at the paper till I get the shade I'm looking for.The eraser leaves a clean surface without any bits left behind. Therefore it does not smudge your work.I've been using this eraser for 5 years now and have just bought another. I highly recommend the Faber-Castell Kneaded Eraser.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Not for Colored Pencils
from Little Canada, MN
It didn't really work with crayola colored pencil, but otherwise a good eraser fun to fidget with.
Worked well with Crayola colored pencils. It did lighten the outline of the coloring page so be careful if using a coloring book. I wish it have more precision but most erasers are about the same.

This is very easy to knead. Accidentally bought the rubber version and it is very harsh. This is soft and doesn't harm the paper if used gently.
Soft, works well

Finally a Kneaded Eraser that is true to its name
By Tami the teacher/artist

Not all kneaded erasers can call themselves kneaded. I have been looking for one that isn't sticky or feel like I am kneading with plastic. I took a chance and order several of these kneaded for a drawing class I teach. I was very pleased when I open them up and found the kneaded to be truly call kneaded. I am so very happy that I am not fighting with my mistakes. Thank you so much for providing a product that works. I will be adding this product to my supply list for my students and where to get purchase them!

Great eraser but expensive considering the size.
A Great Kneasded Eraaser
By Nancy B
from Sierra Madre, CA
I first used this eraser in 2014 when I took a class from an English artist who let us order materials from her for the class. It came in a small plastic re-usable box which helps keep it clean and slows the drying out process, but a tiny zip lock baggy would do the same thing. The eraser is twice a soft as any Prismacolor kneaded eraser I have ever used, and therefore does a much better job of erasing. Between my mono zero eraser for tiny areas and this Faber-Castell kneaded eraser a mistake can be easily remedied. The eraser might be $.10 more, but it is worth every cent. Art supplies from Faber-Castell are great art supplies. In this case you get what you pay for.
