Perfect for little hands to hold, these Jumbo Beeswax Crayons from Faber-Castell have a triangular shape that teaches children the proper grip and won't roll off desks or tables!
Their beeswax formulation offers ultra-smooth, rich, vibrant color laydown, while the jumbo size makes them extra-thick, strong, and break-resistant.

The crayons blend colors beautifully. They are creamy, yet not fragile. Giving you the best rich color like oil pastels without the mess. The tri-angel shape keeps them from rolling off the table. I have been teaching art for 35 years and always searching for the best art materials for my students. I have FINALLY found the best crayons for both my students and "me" ! Thank You Faber-Castell and Dick Blick

These are not the weak waxy crayons you may remember from childhood. The colors are brilliant and glide smoothly across the paper. My children ages 9-3 all love them.
my kid loves these
we were looking for a less expensive alternative for beeswax crayons. he loves these better than the block crayons... loves the case, the variety of colors and has motivated him to try and do his best work. they are beautiful crayons, bright colors and easy to blend.

These are great crayons - soft, large, colorful. I love to use them when drawing - whether catching gestures of zoo animals or color sketches for large paintings. I'm sure my kids would like these crayons if I let them use them.
super great product!

I am sort of a grown up, but I love these crayons! They are like a cross between a crayon and a pastel. They go on very smoothly, have great color and they don't smear. They look great on brown Kraft paper or construction paper. the case they come in is pretty cool to. If you want to be able to sharpen them, order the big Lyra sharpener. I don't seem to need to sharpen them since the triangle shape always has a nice edge to it. Big people and little people both would love these!

These crayons were purchased for kindergarten and nursery class use (18 months to 7 years old) . They did not hold up for an hour let alone a school year.. we have been ordering crayons for our programs for 18 years and these are the absolute worse crayons we have ever had. They break constantly. It is the end of april and we are nearly completely out of crayons as we do not keep broken ones. We had other crayons that have lasted for years. We switched to these because they were touted as having more beeswax in them, but are very very sorry that we did. The only nice thing we can say is that the blue shades were very beautiful.

They color really smooth and the colors are so bright. I love the fact that they are triangular in shape, it keeps them from rolling.

I don't have much experience with crayons or drawing in general, but these made a great impression anyway. I would compare them with student quality artist oil pastels. To me they seemed very similar to the Sakura cray-pas that I've used. They're nothing like the typical scholastic crayon. Much more fluid and workable/blendable.They're also a nice chunky size/shape.

Rich, soft crayons
By Ben the Father

My wife found this for my son and I'm crazy about them. The crayons are soft and rich enough to cover paper in pigment in ways that I've never seen crayons do. They remind me more of oil pastels than colored pencils. Because they leave so much color, they're great for colored paper, and even the marks of white crayons on newsprint can be clearly seen.I'd recommend these for anyone that is willing to pay a little more for some really great crayons.
