Erase without a mess using Faber-Castell's Dust-Free Vinyl Eraser.
Ideal for erasing graphite and colored pencil work, these erasers fix a mistake and leave little trace of evidence. After erasing, the dust rolls together in one piece.

Comments about Faber-Castell Dust-Free Vinyl Eraser:
Only one other eraser better, and this went out of production several years ago. Finally used it up and tried these erasers.

The Best Eraser You've Ever Found To Use With Colored Pencil
I own and have tried many different brands and types of erasers to use with colored pencils and this eraser is, by far, the very best. Anyone who works with colored pencils knows it's impossible to be able to erase back to the original color of the paper you've drawn on, but this eraser will be able to do it for you better than other erasers created for use with colored pencils.
Still my second-favorite eraser
By Urban Sketcheroo
I use this eraser on watercolor paper to remove unwanted graphite pencil lines and on regular printer paper and writing paper. Works very well on all of those but smears badly on tracing paper. When that happened, I "cleaned up" the tracing paper smear with my Pentel Hi-Polymer white eraser, which works as well on tracing paper as on any other paper surface I've used it on. So--one star for use on tracing paper; 5 stars for everywhere else.
Great value for the money!

This is part of the drawing supplies I provide for my students. It's a mainstay eraser for graphite and colored pencil; erases cleanly without being abrasive and damaging the paper surface. You can also use it for erasing back light lines on a broad value of color or tone, but you might need to cut a chisel edge on one end of the eraser to accomplish that. I would not recommend this for charcoal, however. A kneaded eraser is better for that medium.

Great Little Rubber
Great little rubber for pencil. I purchased this item after seeing some reviews of art erasers on YouTube. I too was impressed and have all of my art students using them. I will order more.

The search is over

I ordered all the vinyl erasers sold by Blick in order to find the best. I make a lot of changes on my drawings, so wanted the smoothest feeling eraser. I also feel that what is smoother to me is also easier on the paper, important when you erase numerous times in the same spot.Blick does not sell the Pentel, but I had some already. It was a close second. This Faber Castell was the smoothest of them all, and I like the way the residue particles rolled up into larger bits.

I love this eraser! It works better than any eraser I have ever used! It is hands down my favorite for cleanly erasing graphite. I sketch with graphite and Prismacolor col-erase and this erases cleanly if you sketch lightly with the col-erase. I LOVE it! Also, the Faber-Castell Dust-Free eraser lifts off more Prismacolor priemer colored pencil faster than any eraser I have used including the Kneeded eraser and Museum putty. The kneeded and Museum putty will lift a bit more if you really, really spend time on it. Personally I like the Dust free eraser. No eraser, not even the Kneeded eraser can lift off compressed charcoal one hundred percent. But the Faber-Castell lifts more off faster. I did my own tests. I recommend watching "Eraser Review" by Owings Art on You Tube. I found it too late. But after doing my own test I know what he says is true. Faber-Castell DUST-FREE eraser is the most valuable tool in my drawing tool box! I own 4 erasers: the Faber-Castell Dust-free, kneeded, Pentel Click, and papermate tuff stuff. I have uses for all four of them.
