Comments about Excel Hand-Held Scraper With Blades:
Love how inexpensive this is and go it comes with extra blades, however the thing I did not like was how hard it was to get the blade in and out. I thought I might cut myself but it worked out in the end.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Really great blade

This is a really great blade. I use it on my glass palette and it cleans away the paint quickly and efficiently. It's a nice size and it's pretty light. I like that the blade can be stored inside the handle so that I don't cut myself when it's in a drawer.Only cons I would say are it's pretty difficult to switch the blades out because you slide them out sideways (and considering it's an open blade, I'm a little concerned of cutting myself)... I still have to figure out a good way to do this. The other con is that the button to slide the blade up and down is a little tough. I'm hoping that the more I use it, the easier and more fluid these 2 things will be.
Sharp and stable blade, with the base that holds the blade very well thought out. The ergonomics in hand are very good, and i can highly recommend it.
Does just what's it's supposed to do!
By Linda N.
Nothing fancy here, not rocket science. It's a utility scraper that can be used to scrape paint off a glass palette. And it does just what it's supposed to do. And it's a great price! I bought two--one for my plein air pack and one for the studio.Only negative I can think of is that it's a little tricky putting the blade in, but once you figure out which side it slips into, it's a snap. Comes with one in the holder and a box of replacement blades.
