Escoda Primera Teijin is a maroon-colored synthetic with thicker and stiffer fibers for work with heavier bodied paints. The Teijin fiber holds its shape extremely well with fantastic spring. Escoda specially cures each brush for increased resiliency and versatility, making it a pleasure to use. Although not as firm as most synthetic bristles, Teijin fibers are much stiffer than Escoda's Tadami synthetic mongoose. The black lacquered handle offers plenty of control on canvas, and is secured to the nickel ferrule with Escoda's exclusive triple crimping process. Both short and long handle styles are available. Long handles are generally preferred for easel painting, while short handles are more often used for tabletop painting Note — Brush sizes are not standardized. The length and width of a brush of a given shape and size varies considerably by manufacturer. Since fine art brushes are handmade, expect some variation even among brushes from a given manufacturer. ® Escoda is a registered trademark. |
