The Prado Tame synthetic is Escoda's finest synthetic sable for watercolor.

The painting edge, snap, and color carrying capacity of this brush are outstanding. The short fiber length gives great control to painters who like to use bright brushes. Escoda specially cures each handcrafted brush for excellent snap and resiliency.

The short, burgundy lacquered wood handle is triple crimped to the nickel-plated brass ferrule.

Note — Brush sizes are not standardized. The length and width of a brush of a given shape and size varies considerably by manufacturer. Since fine art brushes are handmade, expect some variation even among brushes from a given manufacturer.

This is are amazing brushes i was advised to buy a few of these on my first time to buy my art supplies. I bought a size 14 angular and i love it it is the brush that i have used to make most of my acrylic paintings. These brushes if you clean them well they last a long time there very professional brushes and from years of taking care of my favorite brush its lasted a long time. It was well worth the price way better than anything that i have seen carried at a craft store.

If you are looking to purchase a synthetic brush that mimics sable, this may be one you should try. This is a SOFT hair brush and the synth. hairs are colored to resemble sable but that is not all. The hair slightly wraps around to a point much in the same way a natural hair brush does. These brushes will hold an ample amount of water, keep a nice point for delicate work and have that sable snappiness that is sought after in a quality synthetic. All this with a superior looking handle and a strong crimping of the ferrule. The Prado series paints very well for its price and looks and feels like a brush that is much more expensive. Escoda makes products that easily competes with and even rival their more expensive competition. A beautiful brush to hold!
