Escoda's Prado Tame synthetic offers varying lengths and diameters of a new high-performance filament that has been perfectly blended to perform exactly like a pure sable brush.

Excellent for oil, acrylic, or watercolor, the snap and color-carrying capacity of these brushes are outstanding. Unlike other brushmakers, Escoda cures each handcrafted brush to achieve excellent snap and resiliency.

Each brush features a triple-crimped nickel-plated brass ferrule, attached to a long burgundy lacquered wood handle.

Set of 6 — This six-piece, long-handled set includes brights in sizes 6, 10, and 14, and rounds in sizes 2, 6, and 10.

Note — Brush sizes are not standardized. The length and width of a brush of a given shape and size varies considerably by manufacturer. Since fine art brushes are handmade, expect some variation even among brushes from a given manufacturer.

Escoda by far makes the best quality brushes, their craftsmenship is second to none... I've used DaVinci, Isabey, and on and on.. Escoda makes the best brushes hands down...

This particular series is great, performs very much like red sable, the brights are spectacular, almost like a filbert hybrid, great for watercolor, very sturdy, does very well with oils, have never tried these with acrylic but would probably do best with a medium to low viscosity paint.

The triple clamp is great, the ferrules do not come loose.
