Welcome to dickblick
Escoda's Prado Tame synthetic offers varying lengths and diameters of a new high-performance filament that has been perfectly blended to perform exactly like a pure sable brush.
Excellent for oil, acrylic, or watercolor, the snap and color-carrying capacity of these brushes are outstanding. Unlike other brushmakers, Escoda cures each handcrafted brush to achieve excellent snap and resiliency.
Each brush features a triple-crimped nickel-plated brass ferrule, attached to a long burgundy lacquered wood handle.
Set of 6 — This six-piece, long-handled set includes brights in sizes 6, 10, and 14, and rounds in sizes 2, 6, and 10.

Solid synthetic watercolor brush
from Greensboro, NC
Comments about Escoda Prado Tame Synthetic Long Handle:
I've been trying to land the perfect synthetic watercolor brush for years as I paint a lot of animals and it feels wrong to use animal hair. As a result, I have a lot of fails that are now in my pile of junk brushes. Most do not hold their shape, separate, or do not hold water/paint for a smooth stroke. I found Escoda Prada to be the best synthetic brush so far. I haven't tried them all, but this is a keeper for me. They last a good while and keep their shape nicely. I'll keep buying Escoda until something better comes along.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Best synthetic brushes
from Foothills of CA
This produce does not loose its bristles like the cheaper synthetics. They seem to help control the watercolor washes. Better tools sure make a better product.

Just what I wanted!

It's perfect for large watercolor washes as well as some detail work.
Comments about Escoda Prado Tame Synthetic Sable Bright:
I like this brush and go thru them rather quickly when working w acrylic. I think this is due to overuse and the nature of the paint and brush hairs. The price is reasonable and I am able to order more when I need them. Changing out brushes is key to constant use. It also makes painting more enjoyable for me.

The greatest watercolor brushes ever!
By Mama Leone
from Bonnyville, Alberta
I use these brushes for watercolor painting. I like The Prado Line of Escoda brushes because they are a little stiffer than natural hair brushes and yet still hold a lot of paint and water. Also they are very hardy and hold out under a lot of abuse. I do a lot of lifting in my style of painting. These brushes are fantastic for this technique!
