The Prado Tame synthetic is Escoda's finest synthetic for watercolor, with the hairs dyed to resemble sable. The painting edge, snap, and color carrying capacity of this brush are outstanding. The short fiber length gives great control to painters who like to use bright brushes. Unlike other brush makers, Escoda specially cures each handcrafted brush for excellent snap and resiliency. The short, burgundy lacquered wood handle is triple crimped to the nickel-plated brass ferrule. Note — Brush sizes are not standardized. The length and width of a brush of a given shape and size varies considerably by manufacturer. Since fine art brushes are handmade, expect some variation even among brushes from a given manufacturer. ® Escoda is a registered trademark. |
