I was looking for a round that held enough paint but didn't glob onto the paper when paint application began. This brush holds the paint so well, and the smooth application helps me to be in control without releasing too much paint. It cleans easily, retains the point VERY well, and feels like a dream in use. I love this brush and will be getting several sizes.

I really like these brushes. I saw Greg Allen using them in his DVD and gave them a try. The rounds really come to a great point and hold their shape.

I have been impressed by Escoda brushes for some time, but I was looking for something a little firmer than Kolinski sable. Escoda brushes appear to be a little smaller than equivalent sizes in other brands, but these brushes are well priced, look good, are well made and flick to a good point. They also appear to be less prone to hooking at the ends than other synthetic brushes I have used.
