Chungking natural bristle is for painters who are hard on their bristle brushes, painters who go through a lot of brushes. For the budget-minded painter, this is a great brush! Use it on rough, gritty surfaces as in faux finishing and mural painting. The short handle is ideal for a brush that will be transported to plein air locations. Escoda's Natural Chungking bristle is stiffer and a darker color than the select grade used in their other top-of-the-line brushes. It has long bristles that produce a flowing, soft edged stroke. Each brush includes a natural wooden handle with a matte finish, and the polished brass ferrule is triple crimped. Escoda specially treats each brush to ensure that it maintains its shape. Bright, Series 7042 — Use this full-bodied, flat bristle brush for decorative work, murals, frescoes, and faux finishing. It has a square tip. Filbert, Series 7040 — Use this filbert bristle brush for decorative work, murals, frescoes, and faux finishing. It tapers to a soft, rounded tip. Round, Series 7041 — Use this full-bodied, round bristle brush for decorative work, murals, frescoes, and faux finishing. It is long and tapered to produce a good point and provides excellent control. Note — Brush sizes are not standardized. The length and width of a brush of a given shape and size varies considerably by manufacturer. Since fine art brushes are handmade, expect some variation even among brushes from a given manufacturer. ® Escoda is a registered trademark. |
