Comments about Escoda Artist Brush and Hand Soap:
This brush soap smells really good and is a very solid bar. I never expect anything less from Escoda Spain. It cleans my brushes nicely and makes them smell good while leaving my hands soft and supple.

Excellent for cleaning WC brushes, even better for hands
from Highland Park, IL
This soap is an excellent cleaner and conditioner for my water color brushes, and a cheap plastic soap dish/holder from the drug store cures its chief deficiency, as it is sold without anyplace to keep a wet bar.But even better than its performance on brushes, this soap is marvelous for hands. I now use it as my regular hand soap at home, and this past winter was the first in decades that I have not needed daily moisturizer for my hands. It does a very good job of cleaning ink as well. Makes washing hands a pleasure. Quite the unexpected treat when just looking to clean brushes.
Does the work

I would suggest selling this in a waterproof container, even like a milk carton type material.

Overall, it's a great product.

I bought it to clean brushes after using water mixable oil paint. I'd hate to run out of it.
My favorite soap for cleaning brushes.
from St. Cloud, Minnesota
I love this soap for cleaning my brushes. I use oil and terp can be harsh and nwalnut oil, well, oily, but this soap cleans them all. Also, I am allergic to many soaps, but not this one so for me it is definitely worth the money.

I purchased this soap for the first time along with the DaVinci brand and now use it to finish off brushes that were cleaned with the DaVinci soap which is a better cleaner. Escoda is an excellent conditioner and certainly worthy as a stand alone cleaner, but it is a slightly milder soap than the DaVinci so it might take one or two more applications to clean your oil brushes as thoroughly. Additionally, because it is a better conditioner, it doesn't lather up the way other soaps do. Never the less, I regard it as an excellent value. You also might consider having a soap dish available as there is no permanent container that comes with this soap.
