Escoda's Aquario Squirrel hair is extremely soft, more delicate than other hairs. It's so fine that a brushstroke will not leave voids or hair tracks.

The round point and short red lacquered wood handle are ideal for detail work. Squirrel hair is softer and less springy than kolinsky, so the effect you would use a squirrel brush for is quite different. Use it to create precise rounded strokes rather than for points or dots.

Escoda "cures" each brush with a unique treatment that gives each brush head remarkable resiliency.

The short red lacquered handle is attached to the nickel-plated brass ferrule via Escodas exclusive triple crimping process.

Note — Brush sizes are not standardized. The length and width of a brush of a given shape and size varies considerably by manufacturer. Since fine art brushes are handmade, expect some variation even among brushes from a given manufacturer.
