First time exploring Resin...
from Mooresville, NC
Comments about Envirotex Lite:
Enviro Tex Lite pour-on resin was quite easy to use. Just follow the instructions. An art student wanted to explore resin on top of her acrylic paint on canvas. Her two paintings with the resin turned out beautifully!Unless you have an industrial ventilation system, do your project outside. I learned that I should have placed the canvases on a box to raise it above the plastic tarp covered table. As it did stick to the tarp, but I removed with an exacto knife easily.I would recommend Enviro Tex Lite resin!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

TECHNOLOGICALLY SUPERB --- UNLIMITED CREATIVE POTENTIAL
from Staunton, Virginia, U.S.A.
... Envirotex Lite's nickname "liquid glass" is just the iceberg's tip on astonishing creative potential levels determined by the user artist. I use it in 2 capacities: 1) To integrate structural strength and provide ultra-permanent final overcoat protection, and 2) To stagecraft micro-optical special effects for multimedia applications that defy visual and perceptual logic, and dazzle the viewer. Pure Magick.

MULTI-LEVEL DEEP OPTICAL UNDERDRIVE SCULPTURE
First time user

I bought this product for a counter refinish project (laminate to granite look finish). As a first time user I thought it was great. Although messy, very east to use and the look I wanted was achieved. I've already had a lot of compliments. I gave it 4 stars only because I'm still learning to perfect the outcome but I'm sure it will easily become a 5.

I love Envirotex Lite
from Vancouver, Canada
I use Envirotex Lite pour on resin all the time in my work as an artist. It's easy to use, dries beautifully and gives exactly the sealing/coating results I look for. It is messy, sticky and smelly when mixing and working with the liquids but that's to be expected with any resin. I will continue to buy and use it as long as they keep making it!

Envirotex Lite is easy to apply and dried to a brilliant glossy sheen. It self-leveled on a 38 ft. Bar top.

I have never used another resin product so have nothing really to compare it to. I have had such great success with this I have not been tempted to try another brand.

We used this for an art project my wife put together, using art work adhered to foam board. We covered each piece using foam brushes to apply the epoxy and waited two days to make sure it cured, and wow. The pieces looked just like ceramic tiles. And no fumes, despite the warnings of ventilation.Plan to get it again.
Practice made me completely at ease with this product. The creative possibilities are endless.

I used the 32oz kit to seal a 3'x5' outdoor painting done on a plywood/masonite board (see image with my review for Chroma outdoor mural acrylics). I was concerned that the acrylics would peel in our frequent Nor'easters, so after reading the review from the guy who used this on his fishing items (thanks, dude!), I decided to try this out. It works great! As others have stated, follow the directions, stir completely, work quickly, and exhale on the bubbles. I still have some bubbles in my finish, but since the painting is way up high, the bubbles aren't that visible. I used a putty knife to spread it on the flat surface, then let it dry in the garage for three days. (We had high humidity. It was dry to the touch the first day, but I didn't want to actually put it in the weather until I was entirely sure it was dry.) As soon as it went up, we had rain for two solid weeks -- and the painting is completely fine. If I ever do another outdoor painting, this is the stuff I'll be using to seal it (even though the directions do state that it's not for external use). Highly recommended.
