Water-based and non-toxic, these markers are ideal for children to use, and for decorating children's articles such as toys and plaques.

They mark on all kinds of surfaces from paper, ceramic, and wood, to plastic, metal, and glass. Colors dry quickly to a permanent, lightfast, opaque finish suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.

Metallic Markers are the same as other Painters Markers, but they are not considered safe for children. Two brilliant metallic colors are available, Silver and Gold. CL Caution.

Set of 5, Chisel Tip — Five chisel tip markers, including Metallic Gold, Metallic Silver, Black, White, and Red. Great for calligraphy! Black, White, and Red are AP Non-Toxic. CL Caution on Metallic Gold and Silver.

Please bring BACK the "Ultra Fine" black marker. "Fine" is WAY too thick for my projects. Hey Elmers, do you hear us??? Yeah, they really did make this in Ultra Fine, back in the day.

As an illustrator for children's books, I use an outline in black to make the image "pop". I have tried every kind of permanent and waterproof ink I could find and they all bleed - even after they are completely dry. (I cannot use trditional markers because I am sensative to the chemicals.) The Elmer's Painters pen uses acrylic paint and is very stable once it is dry. I can use washes and glazes over it and it does not move. My only complaint is that I would like to see a finer tip. Their fine is more like a "medium" to me but still very much appreciated for my application.

We use these pens in our business. We do alot of gold stamping on products and this pen is an exact match. When we have little mishaps or it does not come out perfectly, these pens are great to fill in where needed and make the job look perfect. They last and would suggest to anyone that needs for this purpose.

I paint on stone. I wish all the colors came in fine point.
Do not buy sharpie extra fine. waste of money. other Sharpies ok.But I prefer Elmer's.

I have been using these pens for several years. Apparently they were bought by Elmer's since I last bought any. I had a really, really hard time finding them in the stores. When I did find them, they were sold individually at an outrageous price. I'm so glad I thought to look on here before I bought any!

I use these paint markers on almost every painting I create. They are great for uniform outlines. They dry fast, and stay black. Great tool for any artist that started with pen/pencil and later moved to brush.
