Welcome to dickblick
These sturdy brayers are ideal for classroom projects such as block printing, laminating, stenciling, and more. The heat-treated steel frame and self-lubricating nylon bearings make them strong and durable enough for long term use.
The polypropylene handle is ergonomically designed with a molded pressure point and stand. This aids in applying pressure and reduces hand fatigue. When you're done, turn it over, and it acts as a stand to keep your work area cleaner. Use the handy slot to hang them for drying or storage.

Every Artist Needs One

I use to glue acrylic paper to wood boards for hanging. I keep my paintings backlogged and only mount and hang "the deserving." Saves precious space.

Don't buy these
from Thousand Oaks
I bought these first time two years ago for a class in linoleum. We used them for 3 different materials, soft cut, linoleum and blue cut. They worked fine the first few times, then started rolling on spotted and unevenly.Bought another two lately, they did the same. Worked the first 2-3 classes, then they just created frustrations in the classroom. Only buy these if you are going to use them for a few times.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Fine for Beginners
I was making little stamps and blocks and the 2" brayer was fine. I wish there were a 1.5" one actually. This one cleaned up really well and worked fine for my needs.

from Artesia, CA
I bought the brayers to ink up lino blocks. They do not ink evenly and make printing impossible. I removed all of these from my classroom, and are replacing them with a better quality brayer.
