Maybe OK in a very quiet setting

I used this to hold matted images at an interior setting only. They are useless outside in a breeze.
The good point is that they are cheap.
Not so great. Wood splits, sloppily installed screws which pulled out. Do not fold flat. Very lightweight chain. Cannot be weighted down. Mount bar will slip, but do not tighten too much as the wood will break or the 'bolt' will pull through. Flimsy and delicate.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Celebrated a Memorial to my late wife on the occasion of her 81st Birthday at which 55 of our Family-children, grand children, Great Grand children, in-laws- out-laws and dear friends enjoyed a sit down lunch. I used the easels to display pictures of her life. They are quality!

I bought this a few years ago and though you can't tighten the canvas on the easel, until you get something else this is a good little easel esp. for the money and you can use it for display.
