This economy, unfinished basswood easel is a practical choice for sketching or displaying. The tripod style makes it easy to set up or fold away for transportation and storage. It offers an adjustable tilt with catch chain and a canvas tray.

The easel measures 64½"H × 33½"W × 31"D (164 cm × 85 cm × 79 cm) when opened. It weighs 2.5 lb (1.1 kg).

The canvas tray is 30" (76 cm) from the floor and 22" (56 cm) wide.

Cheap, light duty

Very light weight. Used to display framed works of art, but have to be very careful where I use them. They are easy to knock over or break a leg. Can only display light weight items because it looks like the legs are bending when anything more then a couple of pounds are put on it. The chain that comes with it is so cheap I would be afraid to use it. It works fine for what it was designed for.

If you catch this one on sale get it. Great for displaying framed art. Not really sturdy enough to use as a painting easel but great as intended for displaying art.

I use this product in a library setting to display student photography. These easels are lightweight, easy to assemble, carry and store, and they have been on special to boot! We use them to hold foam boards, nothing too heavy. They work great when you need a basic easel at an economy price.
