I dyed a brand new white shirt that I liked (just not as white) with the antique gray.

The not-so-good: The dye is not true to color. I bought antique gray and it was very cool (blue-green). My shirt has also faded considerably from the sunlight (in patches) and I've only had it dyed for a few months.

The good side: It was easy to dye; the color hasn't washed out in the washing machine.

(DB is awesome and refunded me because the color was off. I just thought you guys should know about the fading problem).

Super easy to use. Bold and vibrant colors. I left a shirt soaking in flamingo pink overnight, and ended up with a very intense pink. However, there were some darker/splotchy areas where the dye pigment had settled during the soaking process. Totally random, but a nice effect. (The pink was over a darker base.)

One thing to note, make sure the fabric is evenly damp before putting it in the dye, otherwise the color will be noticeably lighter where the material had dried. Also, doesn't work well on a cotton/poly blend.

We have a large round dining table and I can never find tablecloths in the bright colors I like. I bought a lovely round cotton cloth in heavy white fabric and first dyed it with two packs of Dylon. Too pastel for me so I re-colored it. Used six packs this time and it's perfect- completely even color, dark and rich. Lovely with our mango orange napkins and vintage Fiesta dishes.
Used this in the washing machine for easier agitation (after pre-rinsing the cloth so it was evenly damp) and it worked so well.

Dylon fabric dyes give beautiful color, with little effort. I dyed two throw rugs, and the color came up bright and clear. There was no need to use hot water or mix chemicals. Once dyed and rinsed, I just popped them into the washer for a hot water wash, then into the dryer. Perfect!

I used it to tye dye some tee shirts for my son...he loved the way they didn't fade out when washed. Also experimented with some simple designs...but I'm not experienced at this but it still was pretty good and fun too.

I use this dye a lot. I have tried other brands and none compare to the end result of the dylon. Get a ton of compliments of the quality of this stuff. Love it!

The price is great.The shipping is "too high". But still much cheaper than buying a new quilt. The product exceeded my expectations. I used 4 packs in my washer for a king sized quilt and it came out perfect. I used this product because they had the perfect color for my needs.

I dyed my silk lamp shades in a garbage can so I could get both of them in the same dye. I liked it because the dye only had to be warm and not boiling. I worked great. I was surprised myself just how good they look. I used 10 packages of dye, and got just the color I wanted. I love to dye stuff, nothing is safe from me. This was the only place I could find my color. Thank you.

I never really use standard techniques, but with this dye it always turns out wearable. Not only wearable, but envied. Always vibrant.
