The product is of poor quality.
from Athens Oh
The great problem with this tape is lack of adhesive. It simply doesn't do its job. I use it mainly to hold done overlays as I work on them, but the tape simply keeps loosening, letting the overlay to slip out of place.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Doesn't stick enough
I have yet to find artist tape that sticks well enough to hold my paper securely, yet leaves the drawing board intact when I am done. This tape lifts off way too easily, leaving my paper poorly secured.

Good for taping down watercolor paper
from Yucaipa, CA
Great for taping down watercolor paper onto a flat board. Works better on higher quality papers (Strathmore 400 series or higher quality). Has a tendency to pull apart cheaper-quality papers.
Works great for technical drawings
I use it to tape overlays of tracing paper or drafting paper over a drawing. I'm an architect and have done this for 40 years, and this tape works as good as the very expensive stuff and is easy to work with.
Tape does what it supposed to very well
from Galena, IL
I tape the edges of my watercolor sheets to create a border. This tapes adheres well so there's no seepage and it removes without damaging the paper.

Removes without harming paper
from Pacific Coast
This tape works great on watercolor paper. Holds it nicely and firmly while painting, and doesn't tear or abrade the paper when removed, at least not after several hours. I haven't tested it after longer periods of being taped. The paint did not seep under the tape while painting, so it left a nice clean edge. The price is reasonable. Will definitely buy again.
Just For The Drawing Board
By Enchanted Dreamer
from Burlington, IA
Love the drafting tape to ensure my work remains straight throughout the drawing process. It holds well, yet is surprisingly easy to remove without damaging the paper edges. I like using this method more than clips or clamps as I experience very little, if any, smunches to the paper. Actually, at this time, I've had no smunches using this drafting tape, but had a few using the clips and clamps and that's just unacceptable in that I need to redo work that was perfect until the smunch. The tabletop portable drafting board along with the drafting tape, genius!
Just what I needed
I was concerned it wouldn't stick to glass, but it holds to it quite well. I use little pieces at a time, so it will last me a long time. Thank you
from Somerville, MA
i use the drafting tape for my watercolor paintings, for both taping down and to mask an area, and it works great!
