Dr. Ph. Martin's Frisket Mask Liquid is a waterbased liquid frisket that lets you mask out areas of paper, photos, and other media you want to remain pristine while overlaying applications of color.
When dry, simply remove the frisket by peeling or rubbing it with a soft eraser. It seals well on almost any surface, does not stain, and peels off cleanly without tearing or removing the sizing from paper. The bottle includes an eyedropper lid for easy application.
This product contains latex.

Easy to remove
from Baltimore, MD
This was the first time I used this product and I was pleasantly surprised. It is odorless, goes on smoothly, dries easily and best of all peels off without taking any of the paper off. Will use this again.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

My first purchase of masking fluid turned was this. It's pure white which makes it difficult to see on white watercolor paper. It also tends to dry quickly & is difficult to remove. Didn't come off in strips as I expected (and have since found others do), rolls off in bits.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

It's a bit on the pricey side for the amount you get, but is a very good reliable frisket that is highly fluid and easy to paint on. The dropper dispenser is much appreciated, as you can drop the liquid into the center of a large section and then paint outward.

I like that it's water-soluble, so has the potential to dilute for finer coverage. Works well, comes off easily. The eye-dropper applicator actually works pretty well by itself, which may save me some brushes, or at least some clean-up chores.

Love this Frisket!

I didn't really think there was much difference between masking fluids until I tried Dr. Ph. Martin's. This masking fluid is much easer to use than other products I've tried - the consistency is smoother and it is easier to apply to my watercolor paper. Using a small brush, it even works quite well for masking fine details. I also found it very easy to remove from the paper - it basically just peels right off. Love the dropper too!

Great masking liquid
from Chicago, IL
Works just at you hope it would! I've used it in watercolor work and have never had a problem with removing it or damaging the paper or having any color seep through.
