Welcome to dickblick
Dr. Ph. Martin's Bombay India Inks offer powerful color in a convenient dropper-stopper glass bottle. These highly pigmented India inks not only remain lightfast and permanent, but are also totally waterproof when dry. They adhere to nearly all surfaces and are non-clogging when used in pens.
Inks can be diluted with water and used with brushes in traditional watercolor techniques or in dip pens, technical drawing pens, and airbrushes. All colors are brilliant and transparent, except Black and White, which are opaque and have excellent covering power.

Nice, flowing ink
Comments about Dr. Ph. Martin's Bombay India Inks:
I tried this ink to replace other ink that clogged when writing for long periods of time. It works great. The ink slides down the side of the ink well and the pen nib does not clog. It's very dark and opaque at the same time. My new type of ink is found.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Amazing Enhancement to My Watercoloring
By Abstract Allen
from Phoenix, Arizona
I have discovered the #1 set of 12 ink dropper bottles to be an amazing addition to my watercolor art work. I've posted an example of my initial experiment adding ink drops to watercolor wash. My mind is awash in other ways to use these versatile inks to produce colorful artistic creations.

Keeps getting better

Bombay India Inks (Round set 1) is probably my new favorite art supply. I purchased them in coordination with a watercolor Skillshare class, and had to get the second set to complete the collection! Whenever Im working in watercolor, you will surely find one of these bottles withins arm reach. They're bold, easy to work with, and have so many possibilities you just can't turn them away!
Beautiful range of hues and lovely to work with!
This ink is wonderful for penning or brushing outlines that are then used with watercolor (since India ink is water resistant). I love the wide range of color options.

Perfect for Amazing Backgrounds!
My students use these to create great multicolored backgrounds, adding water to create different values, and then draw over them with colored pencils for a multimedia masterpiece.

I am working on a series of biological illustrations and had been doing a few in colored pencil before I received the set of inks. I used them in washes and alone and they work beautifully both ways.

The Dr. is in (my studio)
By Lauren's in Love
I purchased these inks because I saw them being used by an artist I follow via Instagram and in her Skillshare class. If you know me, it's go bold or go home. The vivid colors and price of these inks are hard to beat! I can't have just one color, so I bought 'Round Set 1' and already have the second waiting in my cart! I've only used a few drops so far, but I can tell they'll go the distance!

I use this ink primarily in an airbrush. Unlike Higgins inks, which I have used in the past, the Bombay India Inks do require some mixing (shaking) before you can use them. Also, they tend to clog my fine tipped detail airbrush. Switching to an airbrush with a larger bore and upping the pressure seems to solve that problem. Colors are brilliant and coverage is excellent.
