I was asked by a dear friend to paint a mural for her. I studied art in school and have done many private projects for people in the past. However it had been years since I had the motivation to paint. I agreed to do the wall. I needed some landscape examples to help get me started. I ordered the Bob Ross Joy of Painting book. Once I received it I was extremely pleased to see the 60 full color landscape paintings. I was ecstatic when I discovered each painting had visual and verbal step by step instructions on Bob's methods of painting. For the first time in decades I was excited about painting. I'm thinking about ordering Bob Ross brushes, oils and palette from Dick Blicks in the future.

This Bob Ross basic painting instruction book is packed full of projects! Sixty paintings with instruction! So much to learn here and the book is easy to read and understand, no complicated instructions! The instructions are truly easy to follow. If you like Bob Ross, you'll love this book!
