These high-quality pencils, made in England, add a new dimension to Derwent's Studio Colored Pencils. Each pre-sharpened pencil is hexagonal, finished in matte metallic color.

Use the pencils on their own to create sparkling sketches and drawings, or use them with other media to highlight and define. You can even add a light metallic wash to dissolve the pigment for further interesting effects.

Metallic Pencils, Set of 6 — The set contains Metallic Yellow, Metallic Red, Metallic Pink, Metallic Purple, Metallic Blue, and Metallic Green.

Metallic Pencils, Set of 12 — The set contains Metallic Antique Gold, Metallic Blue, Metallic Bronze, Metallic Copper, Metallic Gold, Metallic Green, Metallic Pewter, Metallic Pink, Metallic Purple, Metallic Red, Metallic Silver and Metallic Yellow in a reusable tin.

Product is really true to it value I recommand that this product should only be used on black/dark paper cause that when the pencils really shine on white paper the metallic sheen is dull I use this to make a metallic sheen on my print I recommand if u want to make a metallic wash on dark paper tat u dip the pencil in water So more color can apprear on the paper

The pencils are watersoluble which is great, but they don't look very metallic when they're wet. And at first they didn't look very metallic when dry as well but if you look at it in the light and at an angle, it's very beautiful and glittering. though I wish the store I went to had Faber-Castell Red Line Metallic Pencils. They would have been cheaper. But these are a good brand and good quality as well. My only complaint is that they are a little pricey and they crumble if you press too hard.

I use the Metallic Pencils in my Art Journals. I couldn't find them in my local art stores and finally found them on Dick Blick. They are a perfect journal pencil...pretty colors! Definitely another product to enhance your pages....
