Comments about Delta Sobo Craft and Fabric Glue:
I have used Sobo glue for 20 years to glue cut and pierced paper lampshades to glue the lining in, as well as to hold the top and bottom rings in place. Sobo is thick enough to do the job but not too runny as to wet the paper. I have never had it to turn yellow. At one time I had problems with it drying in the nozzle and had to really work to get it cleaned out. They seem to have fixed this problem with a foil seal. Wonderful!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I am so happy I found this product

I have no more bleeding when painting on fabric when I use this first and then also mix my paint with it instead of water. Works fantastic.
this glue is better than any other glue ever!
By Beach lover

The is absolutely no other glue of any kind that is better than this glue no matter what it costs, what it states it is used for, or how well known it is. I have been using this glue for years for everything including wood, ceramics, plastic. Material, styrofoam, foam, paper, tile, metal, and more. It always works and does so using a small amount. It works quickly and permanently. It's name does not do it justice since it is truly an all purpose. All surface glue. It always amazes me and never disappoints. I have bought bottles of it so I never have to be without it and purchased bottles for my friends. It holds like Crazy Glue without the dangers of Crazy Glue. It washes off easily and is great for kids. I have rarely found a product as completely useful, efficient, and perfect as this glue. Every household should have at least one bottle as should businesses, schools, and any place that has glue now. You will not be sorry or disappointed.

Product fulfills all expectations, it's an excellent glue that dries not too fast, this gives me the ability to move things around, when the glue dries all the elements remain glue, the glue is not toxic and environmentally friendly.

Hard to clean off your hands. I
By KR the Art Teacher
from Denver, CO
I find this glue incredibly tacky but nearly impossible to remove from my hands. I bought a case for classroom use in making paper coil baskets . Considering the mess I got on myself while building an example and the difficulty I had in removing it from my hands I would not recommend it for this project.. I had to use a solvent to clean up! I will try good old white school glue with the kids
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Delta Sobo Craft Glue Excellent Product
By rare jewels
from Havelock, North Carolina
I have used Sobo Craft Glue for many years. This product does alot more than what is stated on the bottle. I have used this glue for jewelry, fabric, repairing broken furniture, chipped vases/bottles etc... For paper products it adheres and dries quickly in matter of seconds. For metal, fabric, wood, glass you must allow it to sit for a small length of time (such as 1 hour). Once that the this glue is dry the item is not coming apart! It holds better than most glues that I have used. Comes out white and then dries clear. Simply use a tooth pick to apply the glue on small items where pieces are difficult to apply. What is really great about the product is that one small bottle will get you through over 50 projects or more if you are an individual that constantly crafts paper, jewerly, etc... It goes a long way verses using adhesive tape. Very cost efficient! I give this product a 10 Star Rating.

No longer works well!
from upstate NY
As others have noted, Sobo formula has changed and no longer possesses the qualities it used to. It is gooey, dries brittle and lacks flow properties. My wife wrote to the manufacturer and received no response. Highly suggest finding an alternative.

Changed formula, beware!
from Boston, MA
I used Sobo glue for 25 years as a professional designer building models and hundreds of other uses. It USED to be a strong, high tack, FLEXIBLE glue. They have changed the formula--it even looks different--and it is essentially unusable. I now use Aleene's Tacky Glue, which is as close to the old Sobo as I can find. This is NOT the same product you are used to.

This is my "go-to" glue, it won't melt foam, it's good with paper (when you water it down slightly), and it has a firm, clear hold. Perfect!
