Welcome to dickblick
This fluid is used to create striking white highlights or to mask areas for overpainting at a later stage. It forms a fast-drying, water-resistant film on watercolor paper and board, easily removable by rubbing with an eraser, soft tissue, or cotton ball when dry.
An old brush, pen or cotton ball should be used to apply Masking Fluid, as it is extremely difficult to remove from brushes when dry.
This product contains latex.

Masking fluid is solid value

Comments about Daler-Rowney Masking Fluid:
Tinted liquid shows up well on white paper. Flows easily from brush. Easily removed from watercolor paper with a soft eraser. Washes out with soap and water...just pour small amount of dishwashing liquid in your palm, scrub brush in the detergent, then rinse thoroughly. Rinsing in water alone tends to make the latex set up and removal of residue then becomes difficult. An overall good value that works well.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Having used masking fluid for the first time, I found it easy to use and worked perfectly for what I wanted.
