I find the handle of these brushes to be a little thick for my hand, but other than that, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I was looking for brushes that could be shaped, bent, split, and so on to make specific strokes. In other words, any appreciable amount of spring was going to be a problem. These brushes fit the bill exactly! They are very pliable, and can be bent to almost any angle and will stay that way until you reshape them. They hold a great load of paint as well, and are wonderful for applying large, juicy washes.

Davinci Mop brush is a work of art. I was hesitant if I needed to spend this much on a Mop. I was told by a friend that they almost exclusively use this brush on their painting with only little final touches with smaller sable. Even though I use my number 8 davinci round about 1/2 the time, I am truly amazed on how long I have this brush in my hand after the washes. It just dances with a bucket of water in the belly, and then keeps a point that is needle sharp. There is no real snap, but a regal twisting and flown that really opens up my painting flow.

Balance is just fantastic. You will want to just carry it around the house with you.

If you have the bucks, and want an old friend in your tool kit for a decade, you need this brush.
