Da Vinci takes the name of their company very seriously. Their paints are exciting, intense, and rated among the best in the world for quality.
The paints are permanent, with the highest tinting strength and pigment concentration available. However, they are especially soft, with a creamy consistency for smooth, easy dispersion with water.
Available in both 15 ml (.51 oz) and 37 ml (1.25 oz) tubes. Da Vinci paints conform to artist's quality standard ASTM D-5067, and to safety standard ASTM D-4236.

Reliable artist quality watercolors, in 37 ml
from Gainesville Florida
A solid choice, especially if you use a lot of burnt sienna or cobalt. Their Da Vinci orange is recommended in several workshops. The 37ml tubes are an excellent value.
Da Vinci Watercolors

I am a novice using watercolors and Da Vinci was recommended by an artist that I took a few lessons from; love the solid pure colors and how they blend together.

As with Irodori Holbein watercolors, I don't usually get this brand-name, but it has turned out just fine. I can't really comment on performance, haven't used enough of it, but it certainly seems mainstream and effective. Some pigments are hard to find, and I was trying to get a PB36 Cobalt Turquoise, this brand was one of the few I could find.

Quality Watercolor Paint
By Brownsville Artist
from Brownsville, TX
I have preferred DiVinci watercolor paint for the past 15 years and am able to get most of my favorite colors for my pallet from this line. Only occasionally do I order another brand to get a particular hue because I prefer to mix my own colors on my pallet or paper.

I've been gradually switching to DaVinci watercolors ever since viewing a DVD by Charles Reid, figuring if he uses them, so will I, and the price is cheaper than Winsor & Newton. The older I get, the more important price point is and I strive to get great products at a lower price.

Nice paint. made in CA
I like many of the colors by Da Vinci. I especially like Manganese violet which has nice granulation. Note that Aureolin, which is usually a single pigment in other brands, is a mixture of cobalt yellow and hansa yellow. Nice color, but may not be what you expect if you are switching from another brand.Recently I have seen the pigments in replacement tubes is different than that in the tubes I currently have. This is true for many brands, but I notice it the most in Winsor and Newton, which is the first brand I purchased.
Loves this brand!

Just got watercolor paint this time but have ordered several items in the past. The table top paint easel is still doing a great job! Nice products. Nice price.
