Da vinci oils is the best brand that i have used so far in my paintings. The pigments of each tube is excellent. I have tried other products but nothing compares to Da Vinci. if you want a paint with vivid colors, just trust this brand.

Taking classes from Mr.Sebastian Capella,(master of color theory) these oils are the preferred manufacture. They are creamy & create wonderful results. Sometimes a tube will be oil, "Blick" is correct, that tube is bad, take it back. After ten years, two bad tubes, isnt' a terrible record. Great for learning and using until one feels extremely confident in their techinque.

ive tried several colors in the blue and yellow ranges and been very happy with them. I am especially pleased with the fact that they are made in the USA.

I wanted to find a cheaper alternative to some of the more expensive paints. I bought a tube of viridian and it had hardly any pigment power. It was also very oily. Very disappointed.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Despite the value price, this paint is as good as any other brand I've tried (which is most of them). I have the Quin. Alizarin Crimson and Cad Yellow Lt. The color is excellent and the texture is creamy, a little looser than Winsor and Newton. Alot of people seem to equate quality with price, but that is not the case with this brand.
