Container design flaw
from philadelphia, pa
Comments about Crown Odorless Paint Thinner:
I bought this because it was lass expensive than most odorless paint thinners - however, because of the design of the spout on the container, it is nearly impossible to pour the thinner into a jar without spilling a good deal all over. I would not buy it again because of the waste this design flaw creates.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My art studio is inside and I need to use the odorless thinner with some venting. The price was totally amazing, the product is good, the service from Dick Blick was fast.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We all know how expensive odorless thinner is and I'm writing this review because there are no others reviews to go off of. I use oil paints and thicker ones at that because I paint the William Alexander/Bob Ross way and their oil paint is thicker I also use large brushes. In any case after opening the can I detected no odor, is it completely odorless? I'm not positive what I know is I couldn't smell anything. I painted with it for 5 hours my first go and still smelled nothing. I must note that I keep it in a sealed container and only open it when I have to. The sediment fell to the bottom within 12 hours (overnight) and within 24 hours I poured it into another container so I could reuse it. I had no issues and the sediment all stayed at the bottom, it was a piece of cake. So how does it clean the brushes? The thinner cleaned my fat 2" brushes with lots of paint on them with no problem on the first try. I didn't have to clean my brushes again. Overall I'm impressed in the job and the price of this thinner, I couldn't be more pleased. I hope this helps.
