I bought the caps for my Monolith pencils because they have been breaking. The caps actually just fall off of the Monoliths. Sigh. The caps fit better on wood pencils and I'm using them to transport my wood pencils.

The Monolith extender works to help use the broken bits of my Monolith pencils. I would have preferred it to take a full size Monolith pencil (it can only take a couple of inches of pencil) because I prefer to hold a thicker pencil and I was trying the extender to "thicken" my woodless pencils.

These caps are very nice. They are adjustable for pencils of different sizes, and hold on securely. I keep my pencils loosely in a pencil bag or in a pencil roll, and the caps never come off.

If you spend $2 on a quality pencil, why not protect it with a good cap?

These are so awesome! I am a high school art student so my pencils take a good amount of abuse from taking them from class to class to home and everywhere else with me. My pencils where always braking which costs a lot of money having to replace all 12 or more of them a month. these pencil caps have been my savior, have been using them for almost two years and I have estimated that I have saved probably $100 or more on having to keep replacing graphite, charcoal, and colored pencils all the time. They are adjustable to fit all different sizes of pencils. I bought them for every pencil I own which is a lot, plus extras. I only have one kind of pencil that almost dose not fit because it is thinner, but all you have to do is squeeze them for a good fit. I recommend these to ALL artists! Save your pencils from horrible deaths and extend there lives.

I thought it came with the cap AND the pencil like in the pic, but it was just the extender. I should've checked otherwise I wouldn't have payed five bucks for it. But it is pretty useful.

These caps are expandable so they fit even some of my larger pencils (i.e.Derwent). They are great for keeping the pencils from breaking and from marking up the interior of my pencil cases. I have not seen their like anywhere at any price.

I am an art student who is guilty, like most, of just putting my expensive drawing pencils in my pencil bag, and then throwing them in my purse. I constantly had to replace my pencils after they would brake in my bag, especially my darker pencils like an 8B, so pencil caps were a big MUST HAVE. I first ordered only a couple to see how i liked them, lest just say that 5 minutes after I got them in the mail and saw the quality of the caps that I was on blick ordering about 36 more for all of my different pencils. They are adjustable, so they fit all my pencils, I love them, and each of my pencils has a cap. In the past year I have saved over $40 at least, in broken pencils, my 8B pencil thanks me. I have recommended them to every artist I know. EVERY ARTIST MUST HAVE CAPS!
