I use this charcoal for strong lines in drawings. It has just the best working characteristics of any compressed charcoal that I have tried. I have ordered it more than once. It's just that good.

My favorite product of the year. LOVE IT and use it all the time. It is smooth, glides over the paper and blends to a feather like quality. Acts and feels like super light pastel and doesn't change color much with setting spray. I HIGHLY recommend this product for people who like to use charcoal but want to add a bit of color to their work.

I got tired of breaking my charcoal and graphite sticks by pressing too hard. I got this set and said goodbye to that problem... It's easy to get fine lines as well as big areas shaded/covered in no time. The graphite stick has lasted me a long time and is my favorite thing to draw with.
