Each board measures 0.055" thick.

Always painting stuff black, so these black mounting boards are a natural choice for me. And even though they're already black, they're not black enough for my taste so I'll probably paint them black w/ acrylic & polymer medium for the ultimate deep & dark black. One of my signatures is the rough & irregular edge, and these boards tear beautifully. First, I firmly draw a boundary heavy into the board w/ a ball point pen, score firmly w/ a scraping tool, bend the board both ways, & then let 'er rip! The result? Nice irregular goth-like edges. I use boards constantly - lately I've been using a lot of foam board, so this was a nice change of pace.

Also the board have a smooth side and semi-rough on the other side.

Our company usually buys the 30x42 Crescent Ultra Black Mounting Boards. Then we cut them down and use them a presentation boards. So all of that time is wasted to cut the boards down when Crescent already makes boards this sides!

These boards are perfect for presenting 11x17 pieces on it.
