Comments about Crescent RendR No Show Thru Paper:
Already used one of the books I bought. I draw with ink and it didn't bleed through like with normal drawing paper.

Great Price for a Gret sketchbook
from los angeles, ca
I like that the paper really is no-show and is easy to blend my copics on. I've been looking for a marker sketchbook for ages and this one is A+++ but the small sketchbook included with the large on isn't really a lay flat sketchbook and thats why this is 4 stars.

True to its name
from Nashville, TN
I bought this on a whim because I got a small notepad in one of those monthly art supply boxes, but it was too small to really try out. Once I got it, I started sketching in pencil as I always do, but mostly because I forgot the whole purpose of the sketchbook. Doh! But by now I've used 3 different types of markers, a calligraphy pen and some watercolors on it and nothing has shown thru. It's pretty flipping great! I also love that it lays flat so you can draw comfortably. Very much a fan of this notebook, 10/10 will definitely buy again!
A helpful tool
from SpaceCoast, Fl
I am a decient drawer of hardscapes building and landscales and such, but when it comes to people not so much. Hence the reason for this purchase to learn to draw the human female form. Hope it helps.Dawn
Nice to be able to carry around an elegant sketch book
Tis is just about everything I needed in a sketch book and more. The only thing I would have liked would have been would be is more pages, but for the price you can't go wrong.Dawn

Works as advertised!
from Miami, FL
I got one of these along with my prismacolor markers for Christmas. I'm not usually one to draw/write on the backs of pages, but that's definitely something I'll be doing with this notebook! It works perfectly with the markers! Watercolor goes on a little weird, but once it dried, I was pretty satisfied with the result. Still, if you plan to mainly do watercolor, I probably wouldn't recommend it. For other media, it's great :)

Can't get over quality of paper
I really like the feel and quality of this paper. Presently I'm just using graphite pencils and Copic markers in my sketchbooks. The fact that I can use both sides of the page really makes me happy. (Saves me money too!) The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I didn't purchase the wire-bound sketchbook which was more expensive.
good paper, could lie flatter
from Boston, MA
The paper is good quality and markers and ink don't show through. I wish they lay a little flatter though, even the lay-flat variety is not as good as some of the competition.
No Bleed, but Feathering
from South central Texas
I bought a RenR sketchbook specifically to use with Copic markers, because I like working in bound sketchbooks. The "no bleed" feature was what attracted me, and the RendR paper certainly delivers on that promise. I haven't found another sketchbook paper on which alcohol markers don't bleed. On the other hand, markers, fineliners, and fountain pens all feather to some degree on this paper. The feathering isn't bad, but it is noticeable, giving the work a somewhat "soft" look, which can look quite nice for some things, but not for others. Also, blending the marker ink seems nearly impossible on this paper. I am new to Copic markers, so possibly this is due to my inexperience, but I haven't experienced this problem on other papers.

It does bleed through!
from National City
I was at first very pleased with this paper for putting down some industrial design skecthes and bought it for the advertised no bleed qualities. I put a lot of great sketches in that I was going to use for my portfolio and put it away for about a month. I just opened it up today to find that marker had indeed bled through into the other side of the paper. So now basically a lot of ruined skecthes. I guess I should not have believed this false advertising. I used high quality prismacolor makers by the way.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
