The name says it all! A versatile, revolutionary paper that won't bleed through no matter what media you use, RendR lets you use every single page in your sketchbook.
Create on both sides of the page — even solvent-based markers and acrylic washes won't bleed through to the other side. No more tearing out the next page, no more limitations on the types of media you can use to express yourself.
Your sketches are your legacy, your history, your thought processes — use RendR and sketch away!

A great, reliable product
Comments about Crescent RendR No Show Thru Paper:
I kept seeing this sketchbook recommended by many artists, and I'm happy to say it's well deserving of the praises. The paper is strong, thick and not flimsy at all, plus very smooth (very very subtle texture to it). There are some small issues:- It has a smell if you are sensitive to that, but it's not strong enough to bother me.- The pages are more off-white than bright white, so it's very hard to tell what colours I'm laying down with more transparent, pastel markers. Before they dry, they look more like a wet stain on the paper. - I bought the lay flat book but it does not lay completely flat as advertised, rather it's 'flat enough' with effort, aka you pressing down the pages for a while. Aside from that, I really like it, and it is 100% bleedproof! I have tested different marker brands in this, as well as inks, and there is no bleed even with a lot of layering. It is not a purely mixed media sketchbook, so try not to use much water in it or it will warp. It works for light washes of ink. You can see examples of work I've done in the sketchbook attached.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great for painting and using markers
from New Jersey
I am practicing with different kinds of media and this sketchbook is the best i have ever owned. There is ano show through I can do thumbnails of different media in one page and it does not show through the back page.
I,vebeen using it to practice acrylic painting. I've been ableto use the front andback of pages no problem. Best sketchbook i've gotten.
Best marker paper

I bought these back when they included the free mini sketchbook with the larger hardbound one. I'll still buy them even though it doesn't seem like this deal is available. I've used the paper for the past year, and I haven't noticed any bleeding. It's become my standard of paper. You could use it for more longer works, but I think it's most useful for shorter ones. The paper is just a little flimsy to me.This paper is best for markers. The colors seem grayish when wet, but they dry nicely and quickly.
Really Great Sketchbook
This is a great sketchbook, it's quite small so if you want a more normal sized book, get a larger size. It doesn't work wel woth watercolors, the colors are nit a vibrant. As for other media, it works great with brush pens, ink, fountain pens, pencils, and copics. I would recommend it for anyone who uses those materials to use this sketchbook.

Honestly this is really bleed proof. It does smell a little but it's not that bad. The quality overall is great. I'm definitely buying these sketchbooks later on.

This paper is best in it's class. I have switched over for good. It does have a slight smell to it. However, I don't mind it. It's awesome quality paper!
Great paper for pens and light watercolor
from New York, NY
I have been using the Crescent RendR No Show sketchbooks for a few years now and decided to switch over from my usual marker paper to these pads for my finished cartoon illustrations. I love inking lines on the smooth surface and am thrilled that I can also finish with some light watercoloring without the paper puckering or buckling.
Crescent rendr sketchbook is stellar
I was pleasantly surprised to find the "bleed-proof" claim pretty sound.
