This video is fantastic! I'm semi-familiar with monotypes, and have done a few single-drops, but this DVD was PACKED with techniques and tutorials of every kind of method you can imagine (additive, reductive, multi-color, stencil & block print additions, etc etc). The camera angles are great- you get really close-up views and the Ayres Ladies take you through each process from the very, very beginnings (sketching on the plate with Sharpie) to the very, very end (Ghosts and Second Ghosts). The tricks, innovative tools, etc are all explained and demonstrated thoroughly.

Price was more affordable than I've seen on other online stores although DVDs have been out for so long now... they're becoming "old news" just like VHS so I was a bit surprised that the price wasn't even more affordable. The video was totally worth it, I just worry that in 2 years I won't be able to find a DVD player anymore to watch it!
