Crayola offers a top-grade liquid tempera that comes in a convenient squeeze bottle with flip-top cap. The brilliant, opaque colors flow easily, cover well, and dry to a velvety matte finish. Crayola temperas are water-soluble and non-toxic.
For the brightest artwork and posters that glow under blacklight, Crayola's top-grade liquid tempera is available in six different fluorescent colors.
Set of 12 Colors
Contains twelve 16 oz bottles. Colors include Blue, Green, Peach, Violet, Magenta, Red, White, Brown, Orange, Yellow, Turquoise, and Black.
Storage tip — All tempera paints contain organic compounds that make them safe to use, even if ingested, but this also means they eventually will spoil. To prevent spoilage, Blick recommends that you close the lid tightly after use and avoid returning unused liquid tempera to its original container after exposure to air. Always store tempera paints in their original containers, in a cool, dry place.

Best paint for the classroom period!
from Shreveport, LA
I use this paint with my elementary students and summer camp kids. The colors are bold and look fantastic. I actually like this paint better than most acrylics. The only caution is it may stain clothes if kids aren't wearing a paint shirt or being careful.
The perfect Tempera for your Classroom
Love using Crayola Tempra paint for my classroom student art. I teach kindergarten through 6th grade. I tried using other brands but they tend to be too thick or the colors were not as bright. Will continue to order Crayola brand for all future classroom use.

This product has great texture and pigmentation.
Good Start for painting at home
I am just beginning, so it is hard to give a fair rating. So far I am enjoying the paints and the colors. It was a good deal to buy the boxed selection. I hope some day you will offer a smaller deal on some of the colors I couldn't get through the boxed deal.
Love the flat bold color!

I wouldn't use anything else. Love the flat bold color especially combined with oil pastels. Great coverage and mixes well with other colors.
Beautiful colors were mixed from primaries & black and White
from Bath, Maine
Color mixing is really great. Someone said the swatches looked like color aid paper. It was a color mixing project to learn about color and I have always loved using tempera(Crayola Premiser) for this project.
Crayola is good but they have to fix the color yellow!
from New York
I use it in the classroom for regular painting and on decorative ceramics when I work with air drying clay, and without a kiln. It is good for kids throughout their entire childhood and it is highly effective with teenagers in high school, or adults, and beginners. For the exception of the color yellow I would say that the product is friendly, workable, and highly cost effective. But please, do something about that YELLOW! The problem with Crayola yellow is it's to thin, lacks opacity, and in many instances it's ineffective, and disappointing. However, all the other colors in the Crayola spectrum are vivid and opaque, the way we like our tempera paint to be! Great job Crayola!

Crayloa Temperas - my choice
By Friar John
from Cincinanti OH
I use the tempera paint in free-form workshops / retreats that I conduct. It is great to use as the colors are strong, cover the paper very well and dry quickly. The Crayola brand is thick and solid in color, drying to a billiant true-to-color finish - not murky or filmy as some other paints.
