Comments about Crayola Portfolio Series Acrylics:
I am a retired Art Teacher and used these in my classroom. My Granddaughter has tried other brands but asked for these for Christmas because she used them in her AP Art class.

Always buy blick, there isn't a art store that has much selection and the prices are great!
This is the only brand I use.
from Central Ohio
I am an art teacher and and artist myself and this is the best acrylic paint I have found. I highly reccomend it, it is easy to mix and thick enough to hold its' shape on a palet.

long-lasting, consistent performance
By part-time pro painter
For what it's worth, I've been painting seriously since 1992. I got a bottle of Portfolio then because it was on sale ( 50 cents!) It worked so well compared to my other "pro brands" that I went back looking for more. Problem was... they sold out and the only color left was Turner's Yellow. OK, so I got one more bottle of a color I didn't really need much then.Fast forward to today... The first bottle finally ran out! So I went up to the garage attic to find the other bottle. Despite languishing in sweltering summer heat and freezing winter cold for all that time, it is still as good as new! I have to tell you all the other brands of paint ( regardless of price) did not fair as well. Now, is this the "best" acrylic paint? Hmmm... probably not, but it is a strong mixer and will even hold its own with pthalo blue and green. That tells me it has a lot of pigment, especially for a yellow. I should point out that this is the OLD bottle that says "Binney & Smith" on the label. I cannot swear the new stuff by Crayola is still as good. Considering all this, and that I got two bottles for a buck, I'd say it was one of the best deals ever.
This is a very nice product but

This product is very nice. It has good consistency. Color is very good and shows true. To make it better, it should be available in 1/2 gallon size. I would use all the time in larger quantity size with a competitive price.
