The best value for your money!

Comments about Crayola Colored Pencils Classpacks:
I really like having the Crayola Colored Pencils in my classroom. It is also always beneficial to get the bonus sharpeners. This is the only brand I buy because of the selection of colors and durability. The pencils hold up well with student use.One thing I would change about this and any colored pencil set is that I would not have white pencils. These are rarely used and would be better sold as an add on to the set. I would replace with another pink or a peach color. (I have a pile of unused white pencils from over the years of buying these sets).
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The lead in the colored pencils comes all the way out!
Comments about Crayola Colored Pencils:
I was really looking forward to liking the Crayola colored pencils, since they were so much cheaper than professional pencils. However, the first time I used them, one of the burgundy pencil leads came all the way out of the wood pencil. That has never happened before - very strange and that pencil was unusable because the lead kept slipping all the way out Are the leads supposed to be glued or something?
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Merchant response: Thank you for reaching out! Although these pencils will not be of the same quality as artists' pencils, the leads should not fall out as you describe. We hope you'll call our Customer Care Center at 1-800-723-2787 so we can assist you with this issue.

I have not used the products yet because they are for a mission trip to Kenya; however, I chose Crayola brand because they are traditionally the best available for armature coloring and I didn't want to get to Kenya with a load of colored pencils that don't show up well on paper. The price was good, although I was hoping to get them a bit cheaper.

Best color pencils on the market
from Weston, MA
These colored pencils are definitely not for artists. The leads break and wax easily builds up. However, they're pretty good for school projects. Crayolas are probably the best of the "cheap" colored pencils you can find.
