Designed to work with Craftech's Sienna Plein Air Pochade Boxes, the Sienna Plein Air Tripod can be independently locked into place at three different angles to enable painting in tight places, on irregular surface areas, or at ground level.

The four-section tripod features aluminum alloy legs and magnesium alloy components that provide fast setup and the durability required by plein air painters and professional photographers.

The tripod and included ballhead are individually rated to support 13.2 lbs (6 kg), which is critical to the stability of the pochade box while painting, and in windy conditions. The precision-machined ballhead ensures smooth, secure operation of the pochade box at any pitch or angle, controlled by a one-touch adjustment knob that allows for quick and precise positioning. A patented, dual-locking, dovetail quick-release plate enables quick, secure mounting and dismounting, without fear of accidentally unseating the pochade box.

The tripod's height adjusts easily with a flip of the quick-lock leg levers, and its anti-rotation legs enable fast and easy setup. Fine-tune the working height of your pochade box with the tripod's center extension column. A wing nut-style column-locking knob allows for quick, secure height adjustments.

On flat or uneven ground, a built-in spirit level helps keep your tripod squared-off and level to your subject, and a built-in compass provides orientation coordinates.

A hook located on the bottom of the center column allows you to hang a bag or backpack inside the tripod's center of gravity for increased stability — and also keeps your gear out of the dirt and mud!

The Sienna Tripod includes a shoulder strap and a durable carrying case to provide maximum protection of the tripod and ballhead.

Maximum tripod height (at a 24° leg angle) with the column extended is 59.4" (151 cm). Maximum tripod height (at a 24°leg angle) with the column retracted is 50.8" (129 cm). Folded, the tripod length is 19" (48 cm).
