Let me begin by indicating from the outset that I am a discriminating female shopper who is prepared to pay to acquire any product of quality. In addition, I hold sellers and/or manufacturers to all promises made and expect to get value for monies spent. Moreover, I have a passion for beautifully-crafted signature pieces that appeals to my "artistic flair" and which are equally functional as well.
That said, I recently purchased a Craftech Artisan Grand Paint Table from Dick Blick and I am happy to say that this table meets my every discriminating whim and fancy. The Craftech Artisan Paint Table is indeed GRAND and was received in a timely fashion and in mint condition -please note that this item is shipped from the factory in knock-down condition. I was successful in putting this piece together myself with little or no challenge. The top was a bit heavy for me to position on my own, so I called in the muscles-my husband. I enjoyed putting the table together, as I was able to better assess its structural integrity; appreciate the customisable features incorporated into the design –such as the table height as well as the options of easily tilting the table top-; and observe the attention paid to such details as the brass bolts, glass hinges and handle. The brass detailing provides just the right amount of accessorising without detracting from the warmth of the wood. I was pleasantly surprised to realise that the draw slides open on both the right as well as the left side of the table –albeit not simultaneously.
If you are in the market for an art table then you should seriously consider investing in this one. In addition, you may wish to take a look at the other items this company has to offer. Much success!

For medical reasons I need to paint from a chair. Easel time was a strain. This table is wonderful and comes with built-in storage, which makes it a good value for the money. It is also a beautiful piece of furniture. It is height adjustable and on wheels; so I just roll it out of the way when I need a break. The best purchase I have made in a long time.
