I crochet, sew and do a variety of other crafts and really enjoy having an assortment of buttons at my disposal. If you look on eBay for bulk buttons, they can get ridiculously expensive (especially when you consider sellers' outrageous shipping fees!) and you oftentimes get drab, boring colors and tons and tons of tiny buttons.

I bought 20 bags of these buttons and am over the moon with the first several bags I've gone through so far! So many different colors and sizes, including tiny buttons and HUGE buttons (2"+ in diameter) as well as some cute shaped buttons (bears, flowers, hearts).

This was my second experience ordering pounds and pounds of buttons from D. Blick- I must say that I am still impressed! The quality and assortment way exceeds the very low price. I made button balls for Christmas gifts and everyone was so impressed- my friend used hers to make button ball ornaments and sold them for $15! You could probably make about 5 beautiful projects- some of the buttons might not be "cute" but put those aside for art on canvas. We have had so much fun sorting through our bottons- they look like the buttons you might pay $1 each for! Beautiful!

I was looking for a random mix of colors, shapes and sizes for crafting projects- and I got exactly that! Awesome price, too. I am making seasonal framed pieces made mostly with buttons, so needed alot, and I needed all colors. This was great. (If you are needing groups of same colors/shapes, this is not what you are looking for). Love these and will definitely be getting more!

I bought 8 (yes, eight) pounds of these buttons. I am used to spending $2.99 on 10 buttons! These are very unique, sort through them and you are bound to love many of them!! Odd colors, fun holes, some bigger than life, some tiny. You are sure to see the value in these! If you don't, have a glass of wine and look again! Bravo Mr. Blick!!!

I hesitated on ordering two bags of craft buttons after reading mixed reviews, but I am very very pleased! In fact, after receiving my order today, I have just logged on and ordered four more bags! I scrapbook, I sew, I knit, I crochet, I make cards, I homeschool. I do it all, and these buttons will not go to waste. I was very pleased with all of the colors and how many buttons were actually in a pound. As others said, they came mildly dusty so the first thing I did when I opened them was dump them into a colander and rinse them off in the sink. I then placed them on hand towels (one on bottom and one on top) and patted the buttons dry. It took less than ten minutes. I then went through and sorted them all out by color (which took a little longer). I started to count to see how many I actually got, but it was impossible. I stopped after a couple hundred. There were probably 700-900 buttons in each bag in all different sizes (most on a smaller scale, what you would use to sew on a shirt) but I also found some real gems. Out of around 1600 buttons, I only found ten or so broken/chipped ones, which I can actually still use. Some are big, some are small, some are ugly but most are great. I am very pleased with the quality for the price. I will tell you that these seem to be used buttons. A lot of them have logos from name brand clothing and etc on them. My favorite were 6 or 7 blue buttons I found that said "BLIND DATE" on them.

I got this product to put in a jar to use as a doorstop for my sewing room. I loved all the different shapes and sizes. Fun to just look through. The only bad part was the dust but that was no big deal and easy to rinse off.

I bought these to use for embellishments on paper crafts. The bags have a nice assortment with few duplicates. There aren't too many bright, large, or fun shaped buttons but I wasn't expecting that. Like other reviews said they were dusty but were easily cleaned in a colander. I will definitely purchase these again.
