A new addition to the Copic inking line, this high-quality brush tip pen has individual nylon bristles that mimic a sumi-e brush.
Use the Gasenfude Brush Tip Pen for hand lettering, calligraphy, comic art, dry-brush effects, and traditional brush art. The thickness of the mark depends on the angle of the pen, the quickness of the stroke, and the texture of the paper.
The Gasenfude contains waterbased pigment ink that is archival and compatible with Copic Markers — which means the colors won't bleed. The sturdy, flexible, 9 mm long nylon bristles end in a super-fine point for detail work.

Exactly What I Needed!
Comments about Copic Gasenfude Brush Tip Pen:
I wanted to apply Copic markers over watercolor but I was having a hard time finding any kind of ink that was both water and marker proof. Thankfully this pen does the job, so long as the ink is dry and you don't do a lot of scrubbing. It achieves excellent line variety too. The only down side is that its not refillable.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

A brush pen that resists marker delusion
from Athens, GA.
I use it for art lines in illustration pieces. It's designed to endure the Copic marker alcohol based inks without becoming cloudy or blurring.Nothing worse than working hard on your lines and then losing their edge when coloring over them.

Wonderful brush tip inker for use with copics.
from Ashland, OR
Works absolutely as intended. I can get thick to thin, brush style linework that doesn't bleed, fade, or crumple when copics are applied to color the pieces I draw. I love this pen.

I'm just playing around with these oil enamels for lettering. Definitely get some regular paint thinner to thin it out a bit and make sure you learn how to take care of your brushes before you dive right in. If you haven't worked with oil paints before, look out.

The Gasenfude is like many other brands of brush pens. Compared to the Copic Multiliner brush pen it has a wider and messier stroke. I had trouble getting lines with as smooth of edges as the other pens, and the ink is a bit thicker, like the Pentel brush pens. It actually is very similar to the Pentel but it has a hard body, so no squeeze pump. I probably would not buy another based on my preference, but is is not a bad brush pen.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
