Copic Ciao Double Ended Markers are the perfect choice for beginning artists who want to try markers for the first time. The Ciao's solid polypropylene barrel is round, smooth, and smaller than the Copic Sketch Marker's barrel, making it ideal for younger artists. The cap features an inner seal as well as choke-proof venting.
Ciao Markers feature two durable polyester nibs — Super Brush on one end and Medium Broad on the other end. The markers are low-odor, blendable, and great for use on paper, leather, wood, fabric, plastics, faux fur, and more. They're available in 144 colors and carefully selected sets.
Conforms to ASTM D-4236.

I love this product to death. The shipping was fast and the packaging was very very secure so it arrived in absolute perfect condition. The markers had no problems at all either and they work AMAZINGLY well. I will buy another set of these when I have my chances to.
Best price, unbeatable quality.
These are my favorite markers out there. I love the shape of the marker, and the ink seems to flow out of the nibs so smoothly. I really enjoy working with these.

It's nice not to fill the land with unnecessary plastics and i appreciate using markers that are earth friendly and colors really well too. They are a nice size to hold and sketch/color with and to refill. I also use the blender markers and refill them with a combination color mix and rename it. They go on the paper smoothly and the colors blends well. Thanks.

I really only buy my copics here, considering where I live copic markers cost about $8 and here you can get them for a lower price and I don't have to wait long to see them in my mailbox.
Copics are the best, and Blick's prices can't be beat!

If you're on the fence about getting copics and you're a beginner I'll put this review into a perspective that is easy to make a judgement. Copic makes 3 types of markers, sketch, original and ciao. All 3 are good markers but have their separate uses. This review is mostly about ciaos and sketch since they're the more popular choices. The original has a chisel tip and a bullet tip. The other two have chisel tips and brush tips (brush tip is the popular sought out tip). The difference between sketch and ciao is by their size and color variations. sketch hold more ink and have more colors while ciaos cost less per marker. If you're a beginner I would suggest going with ciaos until you get a better grasp of how they work and the colors you would want and the reason for this is because the ciaos cost way less initiall and still have a lot of colors to choose from. All of them are refillable and since size doesn't matter much on refill value. When your markers die and you buy refills the cost per refill is the same regardless of which markers you get the only real difference is you will refill the ciaos more often due to size and depending on how much you use them. Sketch have 358 colors to choose from and ciaos have roughly 214 which in my opinion is more than enough for a beginner. You can always mix and match between sketch and ciaos as well. The barrel on ciaos is circular while sketches are kind of oval shaped but both are very comfortable in your hand. These markers are alcoholic based markers so you will get bleed through on the other side of the paper but ive never had to go to the second piece after that. I've heard that they can smell too but I've never had a problem with them even once and I have used them 6+ hours at a time. You have the choice of buying these in sets, depending on what you're coloring I would recommend a buying a few first and seeing how you like them before getting a set. Great markers and they have infinite value with refills.
An awesome Copic product!

I use Copic Ciao and Copic products in general for illustration, and these are a really cost-effective way to fill out around half of your Copic collection! I wish the names were printed on the cap, but aside from that, the ink runs smooth and even, the brush tip is appropriately springy and the marker on a whole looks and feels very professional and blends easily and beautifully! The markers are the more economical Copic alternative and are a must-have for any mangaka or traditional artist! They're fun to use and so user-friendly!
