Welcome to dickblick
Developed in Europe, the layout paper in these alcohol-marker pads is so thin that you can trace images through each sheet. Yet, a special coating on the reverse side keeps colors from bleeding through and keeps images clear and sharp.
The paper is dimensionally stable and bleached (without chlorine) for optimum whiteness. Each pad includes 50 sheets.
Conforms to ASTM D-4236.

Copic Marker Pads are as advertised
from Kokomo, IN
Comments about Copic Alcohol Marker Pads:
I have used the Copic markers with this paper and it holds up beautifully! I have a lot of basic colors that would normally bleed through and this paper holds up well against that.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I haven't seen this paper in local stores, AWESOME purchase
This marker pad is great for sketches. Truly does not bleed through, so no wasted paper!

This paper was extremely thin; a lot thinner than I was expecting. It almost has a tissue paper consistency and doesn't blend my markers well at all. I ended up not using it and purchasing other paper for use with my alcohol-based markers.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My Favorite Dedicated Marker Pad
I'm using these pads for marker illustration, and as my "marker sketch book"I have used a couple different types of dedicated marker paper pads and the Copic is my favorite. I have used other inks and markers on the pad besides Copic and the results are vibrant and clean; works great for blending. I have had bleed through issues with other pads, but these do not appear to bleed no matter how much one saturates, and I have tried. For those who have never used this paper. It is a very thin surface to work on; I compare the thinness close to tracing paper, without the complete transparency. Keep track of the "up side" of the paper if you remove it from the pad. The outcome is different if you start your marker work on the underside.

About This Paper...
By がんばって,日本!(Stay Strong, Japan)
from somewhere over the rainbow
"Fine if you only want to lay down one solid color. For some reason when you put down multiple layers of colors it pools and doesn't blend, instead you get these glossy streaks and independent layers."If you use the other side it will not bleed through but it will still show color on the other sides, but it won't bleed if you use a million strokes. I have to admit the top is a weird surface which makes it look dotty(full of dots)
Best paper for markers and inks!!
from Puerto Rico
I have always been working with inks and markers in most of my drawings and although I used other types of paper like bristol even watercolor paper for that special touch, it wasn't enough for me. And that's where Copic Marker pads come in. I bought both sizes and seriously, I have never moved to another paper ever since. The quality of the piece and the colors pop out so much, it's crazy and I have used the pads with Copic Markers as well as with some Prismacolor ones and it's the same affect. It never bleeds underneath and although you have to let the ink dry, it's still worth it. I truly recommended.
