I used this paper for my business drawing in pen and ink each year for the pass twenty years. If I make a mistake, I cut and patch then tape it into the drawing sheet for a finish drawings. Some of my drawing are real work of art just to see with many floor plans ; elevations; details and sections sell to clients.

Perfect for my needs
By Freelance Illustrator
I use Clearprint 1000H Drafting Vellum (tablet) with pigment ink pens to create to scaled illustrations using a stippling technique. I have trusted that the drawings will remain pristine over time and so far, I am not disappointed -- new paper purchases remain constant in paper clarity and smoothness and it is difficult to distinguish illustrations made years apart. I will continue to use this brand as long as the manufacturer does not reduce the weights further. Vellum needs weight to remain a stable surface.
I would buy this product again

A good drafting vellum
By Laura D
from Poulsbo, WA
I really this drafting vellum. It has very good translucency, stands up to a lot of erasing and still doesn't feather when ink is used. Its resistance to warping is a great feature too. The weight is nice as well, it's difficult to score your working paper when using the vellum to transfer an outline drawing. Very versatile for a 100% cotton product, definitely worth the money. One little glitch... My students are a bit resistant to change and were expecting the bound pad with the orange color of the Clearprint 1000H when they viewed the product online. (Seeing the photo of the pkg of 10 sheets made them a little nervous.) Fortunately everyone was happy to see the good old orange-covered standby was delivered.
Very happy with the shipping

I am very happy with my purchases. The prices are good, I feel confident that I am paying a fair price. I am really impressed with the shipping. I did not have to pay for shipping because of my large order. Everyting was really well packaged. Thank you.

The vellum has a perfectly smooth surface for drawing, painting, etc. and if you're careful with it, which you should be, it won't wrinkle or make creases. I drew on it with pastels and colored pencils and it held my materials; it also allowed me to erase without ruining the vellum itself. I layered sheets of it with drawings on them and you can still see through the vellum to the next layer, but it does become a little murky after layering about 3 sheets, but that's fine with me. Overall, really great product and set at an excellent price. I'll probably buy more in the future.
